Four juvenile males were arrested in Anaheim after a man and a woman were injured in what the Anaheim Police suspect was a gang-related shooting, on May 2.

The shooting happened at the 1600 block of Calle Del Mar just after 8:35 p.m., according to the Anaheim Police Department. That is just west of the Disneyland hotels and restaurants that features many apartment buildings.

Arriving officers found the man and woman with non-life threatening injuries, and they also found several others running from the area, McClintock said. Officers initially detained the four boys and later arrested them.

Fortunately the victims are expected to survive. They were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Two of the suspects tried to use a large drainage ditch to flee the Anaheim police officers, but they were found in the area of Euclid and Orangewood Avenues. The police officers used a couple of ladders from Anaheim Fire & Rescue in order to get them out.
