Can you believe it? On Monday, April 1, 2013, Downtown Santa Ana’s “The Crosby” turns 5 years old! The owners of The Crosby are opening on Monday night at 5 pm for dinner and to celebrate their fifth anniversary.
Several DJs who have either played as guests at The Crosby in the past or who currently have residencies will play a quick set in honor of The Crosby still being here. DJ rotation begins at 8pm and will go until 2am.
p.s. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, and you’re a fan of melted cheese on bread… along w/ other optional add-ons such as grilled onions, avacado, short-rib, bacon, proscuitto, and so on and so forth… The Grilled Cheese Spot (The Crosby’s newest venture) will be open from 11 am to 8 pm on Monday, and they are located right around the corner from The Crosby. They offer in-house made potato chips, onion rings, & tomato soup! The Grilled Cheese Spot is open from Sunday through Wednesday from 11 am – 8 pm / Thurs,Fri,Sat from 11 am to 11 pm.
So, in one of your articles dated November 15, 2012, you posted health violations for The Crosby after you bashed several Downtown restaurants. Now you post the 5 year anniversary? What is wrong with you? You truly hate Downtown Santa Ana’s restaurant success. Playground 2.0 is awesome. Playground is too. The Crosby is awesome. The farmers market coming in 2014 is going to be awesome and guess who has been behind that? Oh, you are going to start up the Downtown bitching once again. Little Sparrow is going to be a slam dunk winner and they got their 47 type liquor license last Friday! New indie theater to open up on 4th and Spurgeon and so much more. I am sure you will do your best to trash talk it all.
We have a dual mission. We report the news but have opinions too.
Don’t expect me to show up at this event.
I did after the council meeting. Oh the kids these days. So stylish.
