Community Alert: City launches mobile computer lab tour this Sunday to encourage community survey participation

SANTA ANA, CA (October 25, 2013) – At the City Council’s direction, staff has launched an online computer survey as part of the 5-year Strategic Planning process. In an effort to encourage resident participation, a mobile computer lab will be used in at two churches on Sunday with several internet ready computers. The City Council wants your input so please join us at one of the stops to complete the community survey. If you have already completed the survey pass this information to your friends so that the City Council has a good understanding of the community’s needs as they develop the 5-year Strategic Plan. Help us create our future!

  1. It never ceases to amaze me how out of touch the City government is with it’s residents.

    To think that the average resident is going to go online and take this stacked survey ONLINE is simply absurd. The reality is most folks don’t care about the development of DTSA, they simply want better streets and infrastructure and more jobs.

    This fantasy that anyone other than the three hundred denizens of the artist villiage will participate is insane.

    To that point, when I took the survey, I got error that said I was the 832 participant. Let’s see 400,000+ residents 832 respondents. That’s .002% of the population!

    These people better get on it.
