On Wednesday, Special Investigation Unit Detectives obtained a search warrant for a residence located in the area of Beach and Roosevelt, according to the Westminster Police Department.
During surveillance a subject was seen going into the residence and installing a magnetic case under his vehicle when he left.

WPD detectives stopped the vehicle and located several ounces of crack cocaine with the assistance of K9 Nero from the CHP and subsequently served a search warrant on the residence.
At the residence, approximately one Kilo of cocaine was located as well as a firearm and items used to commonly make crack cocaine.

The subject was later booked at OCJ for numerous felony charges.
What Charges Could the Suspect Face?
Under California law, the suspect could face serious penalties, including:
- Possession of cocaine with intent to sell: 2 to 4 years in prison, with additional time and fines for large quantities.
- Possession of crack cocaine for sale: 3 to 5 years in prison.
- Drug trafficking or transportation: Up to 9 years if crossing county lines.
- Possession of a firearm during a drug offense: 2 to 4 years in prison.
- Maintaining a drug house: Additional felony charges.
Given the amount of drugs, the presence of a firearm, and evidence of manufacturing, the suspect could be facing decades in prison if convicted on all counts.
