On Thursday, December 28, 2023, an Animal Services Officer (ASO) responded to a report of an Egyptian goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca) walking in the area of College Park Elementary, that appeared to have a plastic arrow through its chest, accordign to the Irvine Police Department.

Unfortunately, the adult goose died on the way to receive medical care.
