A suspected DUI driver crashed a vehicle into an SAPD cruiser late Saturday night, with several children in the suspect’s vehicle, according to County News TV.

The collision happened at around 11 p.m. at the 500 block of West Civic Drive in Santa Ana, according to the SAPD.

A dark-colored Chevrolet Chevrolet Tahoe is seen parked on a sidewalk with large dents in its passenger side, in an video that also shows an SAPD SUV as it sits disabled with major front end damage.

The disabled SAPD vehicle was in the middle of the intersection and the Tahoe ended up leaning on a parking meter.

At least five individuals from the Chevrolet, including three small children, were taken by ambulance to local hospitals and are in unknown condition.

The injured SAPD police officer was taken by a fellow officer to a nearby hospital for treatment. His injuries have been described as minor.

The male driver of the Chevrolet was arrested on suspicion of DUI along with child endangerment due to the collision.
