Early this morning at approximately 2:30 am, a car was travelling north on Glassell and lost control colliding into an Edison pole at N. Glassell and W. Brentwood, according to the Orange Police Department.

Orange City Fire responded and transported the driver to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Further investigation confirmed the driver was not driving under the influence.

Orange Public Works responded for a hard closure for both north and south Glassell from Fletcher to Dunton.

Edison will be repairing the pole and Glassell will be closed for approximately 24-hours.
