UNITED AIRLINES RESUMES OPERATIONS IN TERMINAL B

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Effective Tuesday, June 19, United Airlines will resume their ticket counter and checked baggage services in Terminal B at John Wayne Airport (JWA). The move comes as a result of the completion of an eight-week long project to upgrade the baggage handling system.

JWA and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) thank passengers for their patience during this baggage system upgrade. Passengers visiting JWA should continue to visit the Airport website for ongoing construction alerts and travel tips to make their travel through the Airport as efficient and smooth as possible.

John Wayne Airport (SNA) is owned by the County of Orange and is operated as a self-supporting enterprise that receives no general fund tax revenue. The Airport serves approximately nine million passengers annually and reaches more than 20 non-stop destinations in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
