On February 4, 2022, at about 5:48pm, the Santa Ana Police Department received a call for service related to a traffic collision in the area of Bristol Street and Saint Andrews Place.

When officers arrived, they discovered the collision was involving four vehicles.

One of the vehicles came to rest atop of another vehicle trapping the two occupants.

Orange County Fire Authority personnel responded and determined that the two occupants were deceased. Several other drivers and occupants sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

One of the involved drivers displayed symptoms of impairment. An investigation was initiated to determine if they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. At this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

The collision is being investigated by the Collision Investigations Unit.

The identity of the deceased occupants is unknown at this time and the Santa Ana Police Department will work with the Orange County Sherriff Coroner Division to determine their identity. They are described as two males in their 60’s.
