If you have some free time today, and you live in Santa Ana, there are some great opportunities to enjoy our local arts and culture scene for free today.

You can visit the Bowers Museum, the Kidseum, and the Heritage Museum for free today – and on Tuesday you can also visit the Discovery Science Center.

As a bonus the Bowers is holding a free Russian White Knights Family Festival today.

1:00 – Explanation of the Russian Samovar Tradition with an invitation to enjoy tea and traditional treats.

1:30 – Reading of the Children’s book “Ballet Series” by Author Aleksandra Efimova

2:30 – Performances by Ilya Sergienko (accompanied by Mikael Oganes – piano) Maria Tikhomirova (accompanied by Oscar Kettebekov) , Firebird Balaika Quartet Elina Avanesyan

Free admission to Itō Jakuchū: A Man with No Age, Gemstone Carvings: The Masterworks of Harold Van Pelt, Quilts: Two Centuries of American Tradition and Technique, Spirits and Headhunters: Art of the Pacific Islands and Bowers Museum permanent exhibits.

Free admission to Bowers Kidseum included. Kidseum hours: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

The Bowers Museum (2002 N. Main St. (714) 567-3600) – free admission on the first Sunday and third Tuesday of every month.

Heritage Museum (3101 West Harvard (714) 540-0404) – free admission on the first Sunday of each

Discovery Science Center (2500 N. Main St. (714) 542-2823) – free admission on the first Tuesday of every month.
