The body of 26-year old Brian Mendez, a Santa Ana resident, was found in an industrial park at the 1600 block of South Sinclair Street in Anaheim at around 6:30 a.m. this Monday, according to the O.C. Weekly.

Mendez suffered at least one gunshot wound and the case is believed to be gang related, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

A witness, Raymond Berry, who owns the industrial park where Mendez’ body was found, said his surveillance cameras captured a Suburban-type vehicle with no plates pulling up after midnight on Monday.

A suspect with his head covered is seen in the security camera’s footage as he pulls out a body and then drives off.

The body showed obvious signs of trauma so the Anaheim Police Department is handling this incident as a homicide.

If you have any tips about this crime you may call the Orange County Crime Stoppers, which accepts anonymous tips, at 855.847.6227.
