Reports of a man breaking into lockers at the LA Fitness in Woodbury were called in on Friday, according to the Irvine Police Department.

Arriving police officers detained the suspect and found he was carrying over $4,500 in cash, several wallets, bolt cutters, and cut locks.

Witnesses identified the man as being involved in previous thefts at the location, with a loss of over $10,000.

Myles Edward Combs, 43, of Rialto, who is on probation for burglary, was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail on multiple charges, including burglary, possessing stolen property, and burglary tools.

Rialto is a city in San Bernardino County, California.

The Irvine Police Department advises that when you visit the gym, don’t place anything of value in a public locker, as locks can easily be defeated. They also suggest keeping your car keys with you.
