Francisco Estrada Rivera (37) of Santa Ana died after crashing his vehicle into a tree on July 20, 2025, in the area of 1300 S. Main Street, according to the SAPD.

Rivera left behind five daughters. Understandably his family is reeling in the wake of his sudden loss. A family member has launched a GoFundMe page to help the family as they recover. So far they have only raised $270.

Here is what the GoFundMe page has to say about Rivera’s loss and the impact on his family:

On July 20,2025 our family member Francisco Estrada lost his life due to a car accident. It was in Santa Ana. He leaves behind his 5 daughters. He was a person full of life, known in the community for his passion that had to do anything with cars. Needless to say he was a respectful & caring man.

Unfortunately our family was not prepared for this & we would very much appreciate any help. Wether it’s a share, $1 or a prayer. Our family needs prayers most of all. From the bottom of our heart thank you in advance. This GoFundMe was approved by my cousin Cinthia, the mother of his 3 younger girls. Out of respect for his other 2 oldest daughters we will not mention their names. Funeral services to be announced. The money will be used for his holy services.

Here’s an estimate of how much the family might need to raise on GoFundMe after the tragic loss of a 37-year-old father from Santa Ana:

Estimated Fundraising Needs

1. Immediate Costs

  • Funeral and burial: $10,000–$20,000
  • Legal and administrative fees: $2,000–$5,000

2. Short-Term Family Support

  • Living expenses for 6–12 months (housing, food, utilities): $30,000–$60,000

3. Long-Term Support for Children

  • Five daughters (including two from a previous marriage)
  • Estimated support per child: $10,000–$20,000
  • Total for all children: $50,000–$100,000

Realistic Fundraising Goal: $75,000 to $150,000

This range covers funeral costs, short-term living expenses, and modest long-term support for the children. Let me know if you’d like help drafting a GoFundMe summary or adjusting the estimate based on more specific details.
