A 32-year-old man was cut out of a small car after driving into a power pole on West First Street and Kenton Drive, in Santa Ana, on Thursday night at about 7:30 pm, authorities said, according to the O.C. Register.

The man was taken to a trauma center at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana with a broken arm and various cuts and scrapes.  The Santa Ana Police suspect that alcohol or drug use may have caused the crash, according to Santa Ana police Cmdr. Eric Paulson.
