I will say this for Alfredo Amezcua, he still isn’t being specific about what it is he intends to do as Mayor of Santa Ana, but he sure does hold a lot of fundraisers.

His spokesperson, Dr. Art Lomeli, a Republican resident of Orange Park Acres who owns a dentistry practice in downtown Santa Ana, has said repeatedly that if you want to know what Amezcua’s plans are then you have to go to his fundraisers, his meet and greet events or call him.

Your next chance to do just that is this Saturday, July 31, from 4 pm to 6 pm at 2802 Waverly Place, in Santa Ana.

If you play your cards straight you can actually get free food from Alfredo all day long on Saturday.  He is offering a free breakfast at 10 am, at his office, at 1311 North Broadway, in Santa Ana.  Then at 10:30 am he is conducting a volunteer orientation.  And at 11 am he and his supporters are going to go precinct walking.

There will be free dinner offered at the event at Waverly Place, starting at 5 pm.  The food is being provided courtesy of Chicanos Unidos.  They are offering Oaxacan Mole and Refreshments.

For more information call 714-55UVOTE or 714-558-8683 or click here to RSVP or click here to see more information about these events.

  1. Who is the poor woman in the picture? She looks a bit terrified. Good for Amezcua for allocating an entire day to communicating his message and vision, guess his team was reading this blog!

    1. Salzburg,

I guess they were! I am also told that they will finally be putting some concrete ideas on their website. Amazing what a little pressure will do…
