Emily Pulsifer

Emily Pulsifer, a 20-year-old resident from Santa Ana, was killed in a 12:25 a.m. single car collision, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, along the northbound 15 freeway, just south of Oak Hill Road, south of Hesperia, according to the CHP and San Bernardino County Coroner’s officials.

Pulsifer was driving a 2008 Mazda 3 when her car veered off the right shoulder, became airborne, and then crashed into Desert Valley Towing’s lot, according to the CHP.

Pulsifer unfortunately was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. She was thrown from the vehicle in the crash, according to officials. Pulsifer died from her injuries at the scene.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.

A GoFundMe page has raised over $15K for Pulsifer’s family which includes her single mother and two siblings.

In the United States, approximately 50% of passenger vehicle occupants killed in car crashes in 2022 were not wearing seat belts. This highlights the critical importance of buckling up to reduce the risk of fatal injuries.
