Tragedy struck near Disneyland on Friday night, as a hit and run driver struck three pedestrians in two separate incidents, according to the Anaheim Police.

The first collision happened at around 5 p.m. near Harbor Boulevard and W. Katella Avenue, where three pedestrians were struck, as reporetd by the Anaheim police.

Not long after that collision, yet another pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run that was reported in the area of Harbor Boulevard and Convention Way. The victim was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

Police investigators believe the same car was involved in both crashes.

The condition of the other victims is not yet known.

The suspect’s car was described by police as a tan or gold Toyota sedan, possibly a Corolla or Camry. No suspect description is available yet. The police investigators are likely scouring surveillance videos in the areas of the two collisions and hopefully will be able to identify the license plate of the suspect.

The southbound lanes of Harbor Blvd., between Katella Ave. and Convention Wy., and both directions of Convention Wy. at Harbor Blvd. were shut down for several hours while the police officers investigated the collisions. The lanes were finally reopened at 8:30 p.m.
