On 08/03/2023, a victim reported to the SAPD that a suspect, Jose Juan Hernandez, physically assaulted her. Hernandez pushed her to the ground, struck her with a baseball bat, and held her against her will. The victim was able to escape and sought medical treatment for her injuries.
Hernandez has a history of domestic abuse and is wanted for aggravated assault, kidnapping, and has an active warrant for a prior incident.
