SAPD police officers responded to the area of Shannon Street and 1st Street regarding an adult victim that was struck by a vehicle. The incident happened in the Riverview West Neighborhood.

The victim suffered a bump to the left side of his head and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The investigation revealed the victim was chased by three vehicles when one of the vehicles struck him.

After being struck, several occupants exited the vehicles and punched and kicked the victim while on the ground.

The suspects fled in their respective vehicles before police arrived.

The victim is in stable condition after being transported to a local hospital. Investigation is ongoing and we seeking the public’s assistance.
