When a police officer tried to talk to a man sitting on a motorcycle on Tuesday, the rider took off, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The suspect did not get too far before crashing his motorcycle into a bus on Construction Circle.

The man then took off on foot. After a short run about, the suspect was taken into custody.

The suspect possessed a variety of intriguing items, including a crowbar, a switchblade, narcotics, credit cards that did not belong to him, and identification cards belonging to other individuals.

Amit Kumar Yadav, 37, of Irvine, was booked on a cornucopia of charges, including possessing other people’s information, hit and run, carrying a switchblade, and resisting arrest.

Running from the police rarely leads to a positive outcome! And committing crimes in Irvine is likewise a very bad idea.
