You may have heard a commotion early this morning, just past midnight, at the intersection of Evergreen Street and Warner Ave., just northeast of Delhi Park, as a gunman opened fire on a Hispanic man, according to KTLA.

The victim was found to have multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital.

The victim told the police that he was shot by a man who was wearing all black clothing.

SAPD police officers investigated a car that was found at the scene. It appeared to have a bullet hole in it. However the police investigators are still not clear as to when and where the victim was shot.

The victim is reportedly in stable condition but he is described as not being helpful to the police investigators.

The shooting victim was accompanied at the time by a woman, who was not injured in the shooting.

Police are searching for the gunman. They are still not sure about the motive for the shooting but suspect it may have been domestic violence related.
