Tonight just before 9:00 p.m., Orange police officers responded to the area of 20 City Blvd West regarding shots fired.

Witnesses reported a group of young men, who appeared to be known to each other, involved in an altercation. One male shot at a male adult, striking him once in the leg.

The suspect, who was described as a male Hispanic wearing gray sweat pants and a black long sleeve shirt, fled the scene.

The victim’s friends drove him to a local hospital where he is in stable condition. There are no known threats in the immediate area and the investigation is on-going.
