The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Nov. 7 to Nov. 15. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Wursthaus, 305 E. Fourth St., Suite 106, Santa Ana, Closed: Nov. 12, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 13
  • Carniceria Zaragoza’s, 1229 S. Main St., Santa Ana, Closed: Nov. 12, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 14
  • Update: UOC Restaurant and Lounge! at 12172 Brookhurst St., Garden Grove, which was ordered closed Nov. 6 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 8.
  • Zero Degrees, 9822 Bolsa Ave., Suite C, Westminster, Closed: Nov. 13, Reason: Operating without a valid health permit, Reopened: Nov. 13
  • Atomic Pizza, 1111 W. Whittier Blvd., La Habra, Closed: Nov. 13, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Mix Chinese Gourmet, 23741 E. La Palma Ave., Suite E, Yorba Linda, Closed: Nov. 12, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Nov. 13
  • Nitrolado Cafe, 15041 Moran St., Suites 101-102, Westminster, Closed: Nov. 12, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Nov. 13
  • Seacliff Liquor, 402 17th St., Huntington Beach, Closed: Nov. 12, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 13
  • Sushi Bomb, 100 S. Harbor Blvd., Suite D, Fullerton, Closed: Nov. 8, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 9
  • Quick Mart, 2618 W. La Palma Ave., Anaheim, Closed: Nov. 7, Reason: Operating without a valid health permit, Reopened: Nov. 7
  • Update: Gong’s Chinese Food at 6815 Warner Ave., Huntington Beach, which was ordered closed Nov. 8 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 9.
  • Update: Mayur at 2931 E. Coast Highway, Newport Beach, which was ordered closed Nov. 7 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 12.
  • Update: Kitchen at Freedom Village, 23442 El Toro Road, Lake Forest, which was ordered closed Nov. 5 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 13.
