Ashley Deeanna Charnley, a 32-year-old woman, is facing a murder charge after being arrested for the killing of her boyfriend in Westminster. She appeared in court last Thursday for her arraignment but she did not enter a plea.

Charnley is accused of killing her boyfriend at about 8 p.m. on Sept. 27 at the 13000 block of Goldenwest Street, near the Garden Grove (22) Freeway, according to the Westminster police.

The victim’s name has not been released yet by the authorities.

The Westminster Police Department asked for help from the public last week as they searched for Charnley, who was wanted on a warrant for the fatal stabbing. She was arrested on Tuesday and is being held without bail.

Charnley and the victim were in a “dating relationship,” according to the Westminster Police but the motive for the stabbing is not yet known.

Charnley’s next hearing is set for Oct. 19 at the West Justice Center.
