On Sunday, police officers pulled over two motorcyclists for reckless driving— going over 110 mph, according to the Newport Beach Police Department.

The twist? Almost exactly one year ago, these same two thrill-seekers were stopped by NBPD officers for street racing over 120 mph in the very same area.

Back then, their bikes were impounded for 30 days, and the riders were cited with misdemeanors.

You would think that they would have learned their lesson. But here we are, one year later, with history repeating itself.

This time, the police officers didn’t just stop them; they arrested them.

Their bikes were once again seized and will be taking an extended 30-day vacation from the streets of Newport Beach.

Drive safe, and keep racing to the race track!
