While contacting two subjects in the area of the 2900 block of S. Sycamore Street, SAPD gang detectives noticed a loaded semi-automatic pistol in the waistband of one of the subjects. Both subjects were quickly detained.

After a search of the immediate area where the subjects were standing, a second loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol and ammunition were recovered.

Earlier in the week SAPD Metropolitan Division detectives seized 10 firearms and rifles. They did not detail who was arrested in that incident.
