SAPD police detectives contacted a suspicious subject in the parking lot of Comfort Suites, according to the SAPD Twitter account. The Comfort Suites is located at 2620 Hotel Terrace Dr.
During a search of the subject, a loaded 9mm semi-auto handgun concealed in his waistband was located.
A search of the vehicle, revealed a large quantity of meth.
