The SAPD is searching for two vehicles involved in a hit-and-run that left a family injured Thursday night, according to the O.C. Register.

The incident happened at around 7:40 p.m. on Thursday night, Sept. 21, when a black Jeep and a white truck crashed at 1st and Raitt streets, according to the SAPD.

The Jeep’s driver lost control and he drove the vehicle up onto the sidewalk, where it ran into a man and his two children.

The man broke a leg. Both children were hurt as well. A 2-year old child bumped his head and ta 10-year old child emerged with scratches on his arms and legs. All three victims ended up at a local hospital.

The two vehicles involved in the incident took off.
