The SAPD arrested a reckless driver who was doing burnouts at Bristol and Edinger

Last night, police officers responded to a parking lot in the area of S. Bristol St. and Edinger Ave., where a driver was performing dangerous burnouts in front of a crowd of onlookers, according to the SAPD.

With over 50 trucks and 30 people present, the police officers took enforcement to address the reckless behavior.

The vehicle was impounded for 30 days, and the driver was arrested for reckless driving.

The SAPD could do more about these events but our woke City Council majority has tied their hands, refusing to further criminalize street takeovers.
