Drugs seized and two armed felons arrested in Irvine

While patrolling the parking lot of a local storage facility, police officers checked on an occupied parked car, according to the Irvine Police Department.

They contacted Adam Russell Baughman and Marijean Ida Kleinschmidt, 43, who were visiting from Costa Mesa.

During their investigation, officers learned both had outstanding felony warrants.

During a search of their vehicle and belongings, they located meth, heroin, a loaded handgun, and ammunition.

Both were taken to the Orange County Jail, where they were booked for their warrants and numerous other felony charges.
