Detectives have been investigating a prolific mail thief who has stolen mail throughout Irvine. Through a complex investigation, Detectives identified Tanoah Daniel Marsh, 33, of Anaheim, as the suspect.

During a search warrant yesterday, thousands of pieces of stolen mail were recovered. Marsh had an elaborate locksmith setup, which he used to create keys for himself and others to access mailboxes and buildings.

Detectives are working with US Mail Postal Inspectors to identify victims and other crimes committed.

The suspect was booked at Orange County Jail on multiple charges.
