During yesterday’s Special Meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved Vice Chairman Andrew Do’s directive regarding face coverings.

Here is a statement from Vice Chairman Andrew Do:

“Per my directive at today’s Board Meeting, effective 12:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, all employees who may have contact with the public in any grocery store, pharmacy/drug store, convenience store, gas station, restaurant, food preparation establishment, and retail store shall wear a cloth face covering as described in the California Department of Public Health Face Covering Guidance. This is a step in the right direction.”

Orange County Vice Chairman Andrew Do represents the First District communities of Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Westminster, Fountain Valley, and Midway City. In his second term, Vice Chairman Do has reformed Orange County’s mental health services, expanded access to health care, and led efforts to combat homelessness.
