Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do has been selected to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors for 2023.
“I would like to commend Chairman Doug Chaffee for his outstanding leadership over the past year,” said Supervisor Andrew Do. “I am confident that this Board will continue to work together collaboratively under our new Chairman Don Wagner — as we work to make Orange County a great place to live.”
Supervisor Do began working for the County more than 30 years ago, serving in various county departments. Prior to being elected County Supervisor in 2015, he was a prosecutor, educator, businessman, councilmember, and judge pro tem.
Supervisor Do previously served as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in 2018 and in 2021 and Vice Chair in 2017. In 2021, he had the honor of being Chairman of three major Boards – the Orange County Board of Supervisors, CalOptima, and OCTA.
Under his leadership and collaborative efforts, the County removed the homeless encampments and revitalized the County Civic Center, opened the first-ever world-class system for mental health, worked on more affordable housing developments, mobilized vaccine points of distributions during the height of the pandemic, broke ground on our very own county-operated Veterans Cemetery, and provided language access to all Orange County residents.
