Youth Empowerment

State Senator Lou Correa is conducting a Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, January 23, from 10 am to noon, at the Rancho Santiago Community College District headquarters, located at 2323 N. Broadway, in Santa Ana.

Students, community members and participants will discuss and learn more about gang prevention through inspiring testimonials, interactive presentations and a special self-assessment activity.

This meeting will be held in conjunction with the first official 2010 Young Senators meeting.

Speakers will include City of Fullerton Mayor Pro Tem Pam Keller; the Santa Ana Police Department; Pastor Kevin Brown; Lives Worth Saving; Monica Ruiz, Graffiti Detective and Author; Elsa Greenfield, Director of Gang Intervention, Community Service Programs.
