SAUSD community School Budget meetings starting on April 17

The Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) is hosting a series of community town hall meetings to provide information and answer questions about the budget process and how schools are funded.

Meeting schedule:

• Thursday, Feb. 23 from 9 am to 10:30 a.m. at the SAUSD Training Room at 1601 E. Chestnut Ave.
• Thursday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Willard Intermediate School, at 1342 N. Ross St.
• Monday, March 27, from 9 am to 10:30 a.m. at the SAUSD Training Room at 1601 E. Chestnut Ave.
• Monday, March 27, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the SAUSD Training Room at 1601 E. Chestnut Ave.
• Monday, April 17, from 9 am to 10:30 a.m. at the McFadden Institute of Technology at 2701 S. Raitt St.
• Monday, April 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the McFadden Institute of Technology at 2701 S. Raitt St.

Art Pedroza Editor

Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
