Santa Ana Police were asking for the public’s help Thursday in identifying a man wanted for robbing one Subway restaurant four times in the past several weeks. The most recent incident occurred Tuesday just before 11 p.m. at the Subway restaurant in the 2600 block of West Edinger Avenue, according to KTLA News.
The same shop was robbed on June 12, July 11 and July 17. Police believe each robbery was committed by the same man, according to CBS News.
Police described the robber as a Hispanic man in his mid- to late 20s, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-1, 175 to 200 pounds with a medium build, and wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, according to the O.C. Register.
“He always leaves on foot. Why does he pick this one business? It’s open 24 hours a day, but he always goes to this business, he goes when the hours are slow, basically the late night, early morning hours,” said Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna. “He’s either watching it, or he’s from the neighborhood and he knows the routine,” according to ABC News.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS (1-855-847-6227).
