Santa Ana Gang Shooting

Apparently a local gang banger tried to block a bullet with his hand!  Or perhaps he was not quick enough to dodge the bullets fired at him by an unknown assailant.

SAPD police officers drove to the 100 block of South Broadway Street, in Santa Ana’s Ward 2, which is represented by Council Member Michele Martinez, on Thursday night at around 10:30 p.m., after reports of shots fired, according to the O.C. Register.

The police arrested a man who was seen running east on East Walnut Street.  The man was shot in the right hand and the police also found a handgun under a nearby parked car.

As you might expect the wounded gang banger isn’t talking but he is facing charges for illegal possession of a weapon.

This incident took place about a mile from the SAPD’s police headquarters.

  1. There has been so many shootings within a two block radius of where this happened its not surprising any more, police gang unit is joke so incompetent they drive around harrasing us innocent folks , but they are never around when this kind of thing happens

  2. It doesn’t matter who’s ward it is. The whole city is out of control and SAPD is about 260 strong compared to the 400 officers that they used to have. They can’t hired fast enough now because our city council and mayor waited too long. They waited and hired that city manager for a fortune. The cops haven’t gotten a raise in 8 years!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know that 3 officers left the SAPD to go to Anaheim P.D.?

  3. they don’t deserve a raise if this city is getting out of control they are obviously not doing their job right, right this instant there is a whole bunch of them on 5th street harassing the dangerous criminals without a driver’s license so they can make them pay about three weeks worth of wages in fines

  4. Treat your cops like that while you pay your city manager all that money and you will end up like Baltimore…..or Guadalajara..you can have StabbaAna
