Police officers in North OC made several arrests on gun and drug charges

Fullerton police officers had a busy day yesterday, making multiple arrests.

The morning began in the area of Hartford and Bastanchury with the arrest of a convicted felon found in possession of a loaded firearm. He was booked on a range of charges, which included seven felonies and four misdemeanors.

Later that night, police officers responded to a report of a residential burglary in progress in the area of Napa and Valencia. With the assistance of FPD K-9 Officer Goose, the suspect was apprehended and booked for residential burglary.

A couple of hours afterward, officers patrolling near Brookhurst and the 91 Freeway conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, they discovered that the suspect had an active warrant. Further investigation revealed an un-serialized firearm in the vehicle.

The driver was booked on multiple gun-related charges.

Less than an hour later, another officer carried out a traffic stop in the area of Brookhurst and Valencia. Upon investigation, officers found drug paraphernalia and various illegal substances.

Ultimately, four occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and booked on several charges, including outstanding warrants and drug-related offenses.
