Sun. Dec 22nd, 2024

I wrote a few weeks ago about my friend Luis Rodriguez, who is trying to raise the money necessary to pay for costs related to his little girl’s pending double transplant.  Daniela is going on the active donor recipient list in February – which means we need to roll up our sleeves now and help Luis and Daniela.

Here is what Luis related about her operation when I last spoke to him:

Dr. Peter Stock of the University of California, San Francisco has accepted and agreed to perform the operation. He will be performing a double transplant which has never been done on a minor, ever. Unfortunately, he works in San Francisco and I live and work in Orange County. I need to raise money for lodging, food, transportation, and all other costs associated with the commute to San Francisco, the costs associated with the operation and the subsequent post operation expenses which will include several months of commuting to SF and back. Therefore, I am reaching out to you for assistance.

Luis is holding a Poker Tournament Fundraiser on January 22, at 4 pm, in Laguna Hills.  Click here to RSVP on Faceebook.
