The Orange County Sheriff’s Highway Interdiction Team (HIT) was involved in a major drug seizure this week.
On July 15, a member of HIT performed a traffic stop of a vehicle and found a major drug haul.
Inside the vehicle, the deputy found 46 concealed packages consisting of:
- 40 kilograms of suspected fentanyl
- 4 kilograms of suspected cocaine
- 2 kilograms of suspected heroin
The driver was arrested and booked into jail. This seizure is another example of our ongoing efforts to keep dangerous drugs off our streets.
