Advisory: UPDATE – Suspect Who Assaults Store Clerk Identified And Is In Custody On $25,000 Arrest Warrant

Suspect: Daniel Fine (41) Santa Ana

After completing this story with the media detectives received numerous tips and information from the community identifying Daniel Fine (41) Santa Ana, as the suspect in this incident. Based on that information detectives were able to obtain a $25,000 warrant for Daniel Fines arrest. On 04/18/2017 detectives arrested Daniel Fine for his warrant after locating him at a sober living home in the city of Santa Ana.

– ORIGINAL MESSAGE –

Crime Type: PC 242—Battery on Person PC 594 (a)(2) – Vandalism: Damage of Property

Location: 7-Eleven – 902 W. 1st Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703

Suspect Description: Male White, 30-35 years, 5’10” – 5’11” tall, 180 – 200 lbs., medium to heavy build, short black natural hair, light complexion. Clothing: black RX glasses, green Fleece sweatshirt, blue denim/jeans.

Synopsis: On 02/11/17, this suspect bec ame violent and destructive after his credit card was declined. In a fit of anger, the suspect struck the cashier in the head, pushed one cash register and printer to the floor, threw bananas at the other cashier, and pushed the other register off the counter. The suspect caused $700 of damage to the store’s registers and printers.
