Santa Ana Gang Shooting

A man was shot at several times today at round 3:05 pm, near the intersection of Central and Rosewood avenues, in Santa Ana.  One of the bullets struck him in one of his legs, according to the SAPD, as reported by the O.C. Register.

Witnesses were not sure if the man who shot the victim was on foot or if he fled in a vehicle.

Of course the man has refused to cooperate with the police. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The police have no idea if this attack was gang related or if the two men knew each other.

This attack happened just a few blocks from Saddleback High School, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, Memorial Park and Washington Elementary School, in Santa Ana’s Ward 4, which is represented by Councilman David Benavides.
