OCSA's new Dance, Music and Science Center building

The Orange County School of the Arts is hosting a Grand Opening Celebration/Ribbon Cutting Celebration of their new studios at their new 60,000 square foot Dance, Music and Science Center Building on Sunday, August 16, 2015.

The new building contains 8 science classrooms, 3 music rehearsal halls and 14 dance studios.  The existing 300 seat recital hall was renovated and photo engraved scrims depicting arts every 5 years were added to the the main street facade.  The new building includes:

  • The Marybelle Musco Dance Center
  • The Hal & Jeanette Segerstrom Family Music Center
  • OCSA’s Science Center

The OCSA Classical and Contemporary Dance Conservatory is having two separate classes, ballet and modern, that day, and is encouraging their alumni to participate, starting at 2 p.m. There will also be a general meeting about the day at 1:00 if you plan on taking class with the current CCD students.

A general tour of the new building is set to start at 3:15 p.m.
