On the evening of Saturday, February 11, a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked near the 2300 block of Barranca Parkway, in Irvine.

The male suspect used the victim’s credit card at a Home Depot.

The male suspect was caught on surveillance video. The Irvine Police released a picture of him. He was wearing a checkered gray long sleeve shirt,a white t-shirt and dark pants. He had short-cropped gray and brown hair.

Theft from vehicles is one of the most common crimes reported to the Irvine Police Department every month. Please lock your car doors, take valuables with you, and close all your windows!
