A police officer was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Barranca and Red Hill at around 9:00 a.m. yesterday, according to the Tustin Police Department.

The police officer observed a royal blue Chrysler 300 drive through a red traffic light and accelerate away at a high rate of speed.

Despite the officer’s attempts to pull the driver over, the suspect continued their blatant disregard for traffic safety by driving through multiple red lights, speeding, failing to yield the right of way, and making unsafe turns.

The vehicle pursuit was ultimately cancelled in the interest of public safety.

The Tustin Police Department however has their resources and they were able to conduct surveilance on a Tustin address associated with the suspect.

Soon enough, the original police officer was able to track down the suspect and place him under arrest.
