Another driver has crashed into a Santa Ana apartment building, just a few weeks after a minivan was crashed into that building, seriously injuring a female tenant and also injuring a male resident.

In this latest incident a corvette slammed into the balcony of a first-floor apartment at the 1600 block of Memory Lane, according to the SAPD.

The driver of the corvette ended up being treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.

The driver was alone in the vehicle when it crashed and no apartment residents were injured.

The police investigators do not yet know what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash into the building.

The driver in the May 1 collision ran away from the scene and is still wanted for questioning by the SAPD.
