On Tuesday night, Dec. 8, 2020, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a male adult was walking in the street near the 1900 block of N. Tustin. The pedestrian was struck by a red sedan traveling south.

Fire Paramedics responded and the victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor.

The Orange Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating the collision.

All lanes of Tustin Street between Meats and Taft were closed until approximately 1:00 a.m.
