SAPD police officers responded to reports of a stabbing at the 2200 block of South Orange Ave., near East Warner Ave., on Friday morning, at about 2 a.m., according to County News T.V.

The responding officers found a male victim who had a lacerated hand.

OCFA firefighter paramedics treated the victim at the scene and then took him to a local hospital with what were deemed to be non-life threatening injuries.

It appears that a possible suspect was detained by the SAPD. It is not clear however if that man was in fact arrested or will be charged.

The SAPD is continuing to research the incident.
