On Monday, February 20, 2023 at 5:03 AM, Garden Grove police officers responded to the 76 gas station at 12512 Knott St. regarding a carjacking that had just occurred.

During the investigation, officers learned the victim was pumping gas when he was approached and assaulted by two suspects, while a third suspect rummaged through his car.

Eventually all three suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, which was later recovered in the City of Westminster.

Suspect Description:

  • 1: Male, Black, in his 20’s, 5’8”-6’ tall, wearing a white puffy jacket and red pants.
  • 2: Male, Black, in his 20’s, 5’6” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white design and light colored pants.
  • 3: Male, Black, in his 20’s, 5’6” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants.
