On Friday, March 5, 2021, at 11:26 PM, Santa Ana Police Officers responded to the 1400 block of W. Elder Avenue in response to reports of a shooting victim.

Officers arrived and located a male adult lying on the driveway, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

Orange County Fire Authority arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The circumstances surrounding the male’s death are currently being investigated. Detectives are attempting to identify and locate any witnesses who can shed light on this incident.
